During a surgical procedure, the lymphatic fluids build up and can pool which results in swelling.
This technique uses moderate pressure and a wave-like pumping rhythm to help recirculate that lymphatic body fluid. The therapist gently massages the lymph nodes and then guides post-surgical edema towards those correlating lymph nodes. By getting rid of toxic waste throughout the body, clients get a faster recovery and better results. This is the first stage recommended for anyone recovering from any surgery up to 4 months.
